Our graduates find work in dance theater and musical theater as well as with the MDR state television ballet. Furthermore you will find our graduates dancing with the Juilliard Dance Ensemble, as a guest appearance with the Martha Graham Dance Ensemble or on tour with the show "Ben Hur Live 2009." Our graduates perform at national and international festivals in Prague, Istanbul or at the Salzburg Festival in Austria.

The goal of DANCEWORKS berlin is to provide young dancers with a comprehensive education program which develops their physical and artistic abilities, and enables them to achieve the highest professional standard of Modern Dance.
Our highly qualified international faculty use a wide range of styles and techniques. There is a strong emphasis based upon the most significant Modern dance techniques such as Merce Cunningham, Martha Graham, Lester Horton and José Limón. Contemporary Dance styles including Release Technique and Contact Improvisation also play an important role in the program.
DANCEWORKS berlin offers a training program for young dance students (between the ages of 12 and 17) who want to pursue dance as a serious hobby or as a professional career.<0}{0>Die jungen Teilnehmer/innen erhalten eine abgerundete Tanzausbildung, in deren Verlauf verschiedene Stile, wie klassisches Ballett, Modern Dance, Jazz und Street Dance unterrichtet werden.<}100{>Young participants will acquire a well-balanced education at DANCEWORKS, in which different techniques, such as Classical Ballet, a variety of Modern Dance, Jazz and Street Dance are taught.
Danceworks Berlin offers a variety of classses for teens in Hip-hop, Street-jazz, different styles of modern dance and classical ballet. Anyone can participate. Registration is not required. The trial class is free for all teenagers under the age of 18.
Are you seriously considering a career in dance, but don’t know how to prepare for it? Danceworks berlin offers a 5 month preparatory education program to enable you to prepare yourself for a future professional educational program. Our program is called “Dance as a Profession”.
You may participate if you are 16 years of age and older, even if you don’t have much dance experience in modern dance, classical ballet or jazz dance, beginners are welcome. If you are ready to make a commitment to dance and you are physically fit enough for a demanding program, our Preparatory Program is what you have been looking for.
Danceworks classes for children start with ages 4 and up. These classes are an introduction to movement and music. Using creative aspects of movement children learn to develop dance skills. We recommend that all children participate in a free trial class so that they can get acquainted with the teacher and their surroundings.
DANCEWORKS berlin offers a wide variety of courses for beginners to professionals in modern dance styles, jazz and ballet. These classes may be joined by teenagers or adults at any time. Come by and try an exciting Jazz class with Ana-Maria, a challenging ballet class with Wendy or try one of the newest contemporary techniques in “Release” with Andy. Registration is not required.
