 DANCEWORKS berlin was founded in 2001 by Ellys and in a short time has become an important part of modern dance education in Germany.DANCEWORKS berlin encourages young dancers by giving them the possibility to devote themselves to an extensive education program. The development of ones individual potential is very important to us, and the faculty at DANCEWORKS berlin supports and guides each student through the theoretical, physical and technical aspects of dance. Modern and Contemporary dance techniques like, Cunningham, Graham, Horton, Release, and contact improve are complimented by classical ballet, Jazz, yoga, composition, choreography, and performance projects. All aspects of theory i.e. cultural management, dance law or anatomy have a direct correlation to Dance. The high level of learning, communication and the desire to push the boundaries of dance is exactly what inspires us everyday. The immense devotion of our faculty is a reflection of our high demands. Our instructors are all professional dancers and choregraphers, with the ablitily to combine and teach both the technical and performance aspects of dance in the classroom. Through this enormous shared interest between the students and faculty DANCEWORKS berlin has developed a positive and productive environment. Our progressive way of working guarentees the greatest professional conduct and careful direction of creativity.
